All ITT providers must ensure:
That all those who are recommended for QTS are informed about the statutory arrangements for the induction of newly qualified teachers, and have been supported in preparing for these.

This requirement establishes the responsibility of training providers to inform those recommended for qualified teacher status (QTS) about statutory arrangements for the induction of newly qualified teachers and for supporting them in preparing for their early professional development as practising teachers.
