All ITT providers must ensure:
That the content, structure, delivery and assessment of training are designed to enable trainee teachers to demonstrate that they have met all of the qualified teacher status (QTS) standards.

This requirement aims to ensure that training programmes are structured to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding that trainee teachers need to meet the qualified teacher status (QTS) standards, and incorporate opportunities to assess trainees’ demonstration of them.
